Which fillers do we use for Lip Injections?
We have a large variety of hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers to fine tune the shape, size and definition of your lips according to your desired look and anatomy. These fillers include:
Each formulation differs slightly in thickness, cohesivity and the way it absorbs water. We use them artistically in different area of the lips to create that perfect pout (#111 Lip). Our injectors will talk with you about which formulations they recommend for you and wny during your consultation.
What is a BOTOX® Cosmetic Lip Flip?
A BOTOX® lip flip uses 4 to 6 units of BOTOX® or Dysport® to turn the upper lip slightly outward and upward. We often perform it as a solo treatment, but find it is especially effective when combined with lip fillers to perfect that pouty look.
BOTOX® and Gummy Smiles?
BOTOX® in the lips also treats gummy smiles by relaxing the muscle responsible for lifting the upper lip. You will still be able to smile and talk naturally, but you’ll show less of your upper gums when you do. This typically takes 2 to 4 units.
