Here are a few tips and ways to make your first visit as smooth as possible.
Plan Ahead
If you’re coming in for your free consultation for laser hair removal or injectable services, we reserve plenty of time to do your procedure that day if you so choose. Some of our more invasive procedures such as resurfacing requires a separate consultation. Since bruising is a possibility with injectables, we have a policy not to treat you within a two week window of a special event such as a wedding, reunion or family picture. It is also a good idea (upon your doctor’s approval) to avoid medications that could cause bleeding such as aspirin, motrin, ibuprofen and fish oil for approximately 7 to 10 days prior to your appointment.
What to Expect
When you come in, the first thing we’ll do is go over your medical history. Then we will do a full facial assessment and consultation with you to discuss your concerns and treatment options to help you address those concerns. You will know the price of any treatments that are discussed. If you choose to have a treatment performed that day, we will take your picture to document your progress. This is such an important part of the treatment process and it is always fun to show you the amazing “after” photo to accompany those “before” photos. Depending on the treatment that you have, we may ask to see you back in a couple weeks for a follow up to make sure you are thrilled with your results. If any touch ups are needed, they will be done at that time.
