Restylane®in O'Fallon, IL
Restylane® can be used to add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth. It can also be used for lip enhancement. Pure 111 Medical Aesthetics specializes in Restylane® in O’Fallon, Belleville, Shiloh, and the surrounding areas of Illinois.
Why Choose Restylane®?
Restylane® is a collection of FDA-approved HA dermal fillers. These fillers have multiple applications in the face, neck, and even the hands. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a moisture magnet, drawing water molecules to the area to restore youthful fullness and reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles and folds.
Restylane® HA fillers are backed by numerous clinical studies and years of safe use in patients 21 and older for facial anti-aging and rejuvenation, lip augmentation, cheek enhancement and hand rejuvenation. At Pure 111, we offer FDA-approved Restylane® fillers for patients who want a younger look or enhance their lips.
What Does Restylane® Teat?
This treatment works to smooth nasolabial folds and enhance/restore cheek volume. It’s specifically designed to simultaneously fill and lift the mid-face with natural-looking results. Restylane®Lyft is also the first FDA-cleared HA filler to restore lost volume in the hands, making them look more youthful and supple.
RESTYLANE® DEFYNE AND REFYNE
Defyne and Refyne provide flexible filling and smoothing while maintaining a natural look during facial expressions. The biggest difference between these two Restylane® fillers is the thickness of the HA gel: Defyne is thinner, treating mild-to-moderate wrinkles, while Refyne is thicker, treating moderate-to-severe wrinkles and folds. Defyne and Refyne are developed specifically to treat lines, wrinkles, and folds around the nose and mouth known as nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
The original Restylane® filler, Restylane-L was developed to treat moderate-to-deep facial wrinkles and folds. This HA filler is also useful for reducing the appearance of some facial scars.
The first ever HA filler developed exclusively for lip augmentation and rejuvenation, Restylane® Silk is a very thin, smooth filler that can provide subtle, natural-looking lip plumping while also smoothing the vertical lines that surround the lips. These can be caused from straws, talking, kissing, bottles, smoking, etc.
Restylane® Kysse is the first lip filler designed with XpresHAn Technology ™ for flexible movement and natural-looking volume proven to last for up to 1 year. 1-3 Enhance texture and color of the lips while maintaining a full range of expressions.
What Will Happen At My Consultation?
Patients often have a consultation and then are treated the same day. At your consultation we will perform an examination to discuss your concerns and goals. We look at your current health and medical historymaking sure you’re a good candidate for dermal filler treatment. This ensures a safe procedure that provides you with your desired result.
It is also during this consultation that we will determine if a Restylane® filler is right for you or if a different type of FDA-approved filler would be better suited for your needs.
We will give you pre-procedure instructions on how to prepare for your Restylane® filler treatment. Following these guidelines ensures the best possible results from your Restylane® procedure and reduce bruising.
Post-Treatment Care, Downtime and Results
Following any dermal filler treatment, you may experience some bruising and swelling. This will subside over 24-48 hours. Over the next several days, your results will become more apparent as the HA draws moisture to the area and the initial treatment swelling subsides.
There’s little-to-no downtime associated with Restylane®; however, we recommend that you avoid direct sunlight or exercise for 1-2 days following your treatment. We also recommend that you avoid aspirin and alcohol for several days following treatment, as these work as blood thinners that can make post-procedure bruising worse.
Approximately two weeks after your treatment, you will return for a follow-up to make sure your results are progressing as expected. We may administer a little bit more filler during this time to improve your results.
